The goal of relationships should be to make them work for years to come. Unfortunately many people find that the longer they are in a relationship the harder it is to keep it interesting. The good news is that there are always new and innovative ways to put a little spice into the love life. Now one may think of the traditional flowers and candlelight dinner to turn up the heat but in the 21century we suggest using technology to get the party started.
I Pods and MP3 players can be great devices for the romantic at heart. When your significant other is not looking, upload a song that has a special meaning for the both of you. Perhaps you set it for that song to play the next time the device is turned on. If you are really in a romantic mood you can even record a message on the MP3 voice recorder to remind your lover of the special moments shared with that song.
Use that cell phone to lock in a sure night of fun. Sending a steamy text message in the middle of the day is a great way to set the stage for a night of excitement. Hopefully you get a text back and maybe you both may even engage in a bit of back and forth verbal foreplay.
Voicemail messages must not be overlooked as a great way to let someone know that you are thinking of them and cannot wait to see them again. A simple “I love you” or “I cannot wait to see you when I get home” may be all it takes to put your lover on an all time high, again!
The next time you think about ordering the traditional flowers for a romantic effect, trash that idea. Use your technological devices to help you build your relationship and throw a bit of spark into your love life. You might be delightfully surprised how far a mid-day text might take you.
